I am Veronica Z. Herrera

Professional Counselor Licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. Lic# 93394.

Executive and Communications Coach for 20+ years.

My work integrates psychotherapy and counseling with a deep understanding of executive and organizational environments. Clients often seek me out when they want more than symptom relief—they want insight, structure, and sustainable change.

I work with high-functioning professionals who are successful on the outside but carry beneath the surface significant distress, emotional weight, or unresolved experiences.

Clinical Approach

I am driven by clinical integrity, client-centered benevolence, and a wealth of life experience.

My approach is collaborative, semi-structured, and grounded in evidence-based care. I hear my clients through all five senses, accompanying them in a courageous journey of self-discovery and breakthroughs. My clients develop insight, self-compassion, interpersonal skills, and the regulation of thoughts, affects, and behaviors.

Trauma-informed, symptom-focused, person-centered talk therapy and interactive feedback complemented by suggested out-of-session reflections and practices.

Clients often achieve a level of emotional self-sufficiency after fewer than twelve or fifteen sessions.

Evidence-Based Modalities:

Psychodynamics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Problem-Solving Therapy, Existential Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema/Core beliefs therapy, Mindfulness, Relaxation, Intentional Self-Care.
