Burnout and Chronic Stress

Many people who reach out for burnout therapy in Austin (Texas), describe the same picture: from the outside, everything looks steady. The work gets done. The calendar stays full. Inside, there is a quiet exhaustion that sleep and a long weekend no longer touch.
Burnout and chronic stress rarely come from one hard week. They build over years of carrying responsibility, meeting expectations, and postponing yourself. In our work together, we slow down enough to notice what has been setting that pace, at the work and at home, and what it has cost you.
I draw on psychodynamic and existential approaches to look at the beliefs beneath the pressure, alongside CBT, problem-solving therapy, and social skills coaching for the practical side of the day. The aim is not to push you back to full speed. It is to explore a more grounded way of being in your life and your work.
Sessions are individual and held by secure video. I spent more than twenty years in corporate communications and branding consulting before becoming a therapist in 2023, so the rhythms of demanding workplaces are familiar to me.
