The Office on West Highway 290
Sessions take place at FUSE WorkSpace, 13341 W Hwy 290, Austin, TX 78737, in Southwest Austin. The room is private and quiet, and parking is easy, so the visit begins without a search for a space or a walk through a crowded lobby. That may sound like a small detail. When you spend the day responding to others, having a place to arrive can matter a great deal. You can sit down, take a breath, and turn toward your own experience for a full hour. The setting is ordinary on purpose: a calm professional room where you do not need to perform, explain yourself to anyone in a waiting area, or be anyone other than who you are that day.
For Oak Hill, Circle C, Shady Hollow and Sunset Valley
If you live in Oak Hill, Circle C, Shady Hollow or Sunset Valley, therapy does not have to mean a trip across town into downtown traffic. The office sits in your own part of Austin, which can make a weekly appointment easier to keep. It is also separate from your workplace. You are unlikely to run into a colleague on the way in, and the conversation stays apart from the building where your performance is measured. Being close to home without being at home gives the work its own boundary. If you live nearer the Y, you may also want to read about Therapy Near Oak Hill, which describes the same office from that neighborhood's point of view.
Sessions Around the 290 and 71 Commute
Much of daily life in Southwest Austin is shaped by Highway 290 and Highway 71. If your week already runs along those roads, a session can bookend the workday rather than interrupt it. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm, with evening availability Monday to Thursday. An evening session can become a transition point between the role you hold at work and the person who walks back through your front door. A late morning appointment may give you room to think before the day accelerates. During the free consultation, we can look at your schedule honestly and choose a time you can protect, rather than one you will be tempted to cancel when work gets loud. Consistency matters more than the perfect hour.
What We Might Work On
You might arrive with burnout and leadership stress that has quietly become your normal, or with the lingering effects of trauma that still shape how you react under pressure. Anxiety, low mood, grief, a career transition, or a pattern that keeps repeating in your relationships are all welcome starting points. My style is collaborative, direct, and trauma-informed. I will ask real questions and offer honest reflections, and I will also pay attention to pacing so the work stays manageable. Sessions are semi-structured: we follow what feels most alive for you while keeping a sense of direction, and you may leave with a reflection or a practice to carry into the week ahead.
In Person, Online, or Both
Coming to the office is one option. Secure video sessions are available anywhere in Texas, as long as you are located in Texas during each session, and you can move between formats as your weeks change. Sessions are offered in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so you can speak in the language that holds your experience most fully. Some weeks, the drive to Highway 290 may feel like part of the reset. Other weeks, a quiet room at home may be the only realistic choice. Both can support the same steady work.
