A Place to set Down the Performance
You may be the person others count on to make the decision, keep the schedule moving, and notice what needs doing next. It can be difficult to say aloud that the same life that looks settled from the outside feels demanding on the inside. In individual therapy, you do not have to present a finished account of what is wrong. We can start with the part of your experience that has become hardest to carry, whether it is an unsettled mood, a familiar pattern, or the exhaustion of always appearing capable.
In Person, Close to Dripping Springs
I meet clients at FUSE WorkSpace, 13341 W Hwy 290, Austin, TX 78737, on West Highway 290. The office is a short drive in from Dripping Springs toward Southwest Austin. It is a private, quiet setting for conversations that may not have much room elsewhere in your week. Having a dedicated place to arrive, pause, and reflect can be useful when home and work both ask you to remain available to others. We can attend to what you are experiencing without requiring you to set aside the responsibilities that shape your life.
Beyond What Others can See
Pressure does not always announce itself as a crisis. You might notice that your patience has shortened, that sleep offers less relief, or that ordinary conversations feel more charged than they once did. Sometimes a change at work reopens an older question about worth or belonging. Sometimes a loss makes it difficult to recognize the rhythm of your days. My approach is attentive, collaborative, and grounded in the whole person: thoughts, emotions, relationships, history, and the environment in which you are trying to function. We can look beneath the visible strain rather than treating it as a problem of willpower.
A Conversation Shaped Around You
There is no single script for the work. We may look at the beliefs that keep you overextended, the ways your body signals stress, or the relationships in which it is hardest to express a need. We can also consider how professional responsibility interacts with your inner life. Therapy is a place to make sense of those connections with care, while developing responses that fit your circumstances. You can bring uncertainty, conflicting feelings, or a question you have not yet found words for. We begin where you are.
Care in the Language That Fits
Sessions are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Language is not only a means of exchanging information; it can shape how easily you reach a memory, name a feeling, or describe the world around you. You are welcome to speak in the language that gives your experience the most room. If you would like to learn more about that part of my practice, visit the language page linked below. If coming to the office is not the right option for a particular appointment, secure telehealth is available while you are located anywhere in Texas.
