Spring and the Pull Toward Change

In spring, many people begin asking about life transitions therapy in Texas. The season often stirs the feeling that something needs to change. A role that once fit now feels small. A long chapter at work has closed, a move is on the table, or retirement is closer than it looked.
Transitions ask us to let go of one version of ourselves before the next one is clear. That in-between space can feel disorienting, especially for people used to having a plan. I know this terrain personally. I have relocated internationally five times, and I left a corporate career of over two decades to become a therapist in 2023. Change can be chosen and still be hard.
In our work together, we explore what you are moving away from, what you are moving toward, and the patterns that tend to follow you from one chapter to the next. My approach is existential and psychodynamic, with practical problem-solving when a decision needs structure.
Our work happens over secure video or in person in Southwest Austin. I am available to adults located in Texas. If you are standing at a threshold this spring, choose a time on my calendar.
