When Fall Speeds Everything Up

A quiet corner office at dusk, empty chair beside the window, city lights beyond the glass

October is when many people start looking into burnout therapy in Austin (Texas), often quietly. The fourth quarter arrives, targets tighten, and the calendar fills before the week even begins. From the outside you may look steady. Inside, the tiredness no longer lifts on the weekend.

I work with accomplished adults who carry a great deal and rarely say so. Burnout and chronic stress are not a sign that you have failed at managing your time. They are often a signal worth listening to: about pace, about what you have been holding, and about patterns that were useful once and have become costly.

In our sessions, we slow down enough to notice what is happening beneath the pressure. We may use CBT tools for the practical moments and psychodynamic reflection for the longer story. The aim is not to push harder. It is to understand yourself well enough to choose differently.

I see adults by secure video anywhere in Texas. If this season feels heavier than usual, you are welcome to reserve a first session.
