A Therapist Outside Your Professional Circle
In a professional world where names travel and people know people, it can feel risky to seek support close to home. You may worry about running into your therapist at an industry event, or about someone in your field knowing more than you want them to. Working with a therapist based in Southwest Austin offers a natural distance. I am not part of your professional community, and our sessions take place privately by secure video. That separation can make it easier to speak openly about ambition, doubt, conflict and fatigue, without editing yourself for an audience. What you bring stays confidential within the limits of the law.
Corporate Life at Full Speed
You may work in finance, law, consulting or at a company headquarters where expectations are high and the pace rarely eases. Visibility can be part of the job: presentations, performance reviews, decisions that others watch closely. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years in consulting, working inside organizations and alongside leaders. You will not need to explain how that world works before we can talk about how it affects you. We can look at the pressure honestly, respecting your ambition while staying curious about its cost. When the Move Came With the Job
You may have come to Dallas for a role, bringing your career forward and leaving friends, family or a familiar city behind. Even a move you chose can carry loss. The new position may be exciting and still leave you lonely, unsure where you belong, or questioning whether the trade was worth it. Those mixed feelings deserve attention rather than dismissal. I have moved internationally five times myself, and I know that settling in takes more than unpacking. Therapy can help you make sense of what changed and what you want next. Patterns That Travel From Meetings to Home
The habits that serve you at work do not always serve you elsewhere. You may be decisive in the boardroom and find yourself withdrawing at home, or keep the same guarded posture with a partner that you use in negotiations. You might notice the same conflict repeating with different people. Our work is individual: it focuses on you, your reactions, and the patterns you carry from one setting to another. Understanding where those patterns began, and what they protect, can create room for different choices. You can read more about relationship patterns and how we might explore them in individual sessions.
How Online Sessions Work From Dallas
There is no Dallas office. All sessions take place by secure video on HIPAA-compliant platforms, and you need to be located in Texas for each one, since my license covers Texas only. Sessions are 50 to 60 minutes and $210. Hours run Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm, with evenings Monday to Thursday, so an appointment can fit after a long day. A private room, headphones, and a device you control help protect the hour. If you are ever in Austin, you are welcome to meet in person at FUSE WorkSpace on West Highway 290. Everything begins with a free 15-minute consultation.
